The Timbren kit is specifically designed for the new 2017-2020 Raptors. Knowning that the Raptor is not the most ideal vehicle for towing heavy loads, the Timbren solution is heavy duty, hollow, rubber springs. They attach using precision cut stainless steel hardware with This SES Rear Suspension Upgrade is designed to fit 2017-2020 F150 Raptor pick-ups. This suspension upgrade features laser cut pieces of steel that then receive a heavy duty powder coat finish for longevity and durability. The hollow design provides a progressive spring rate to compliment the Raptor's suspension. The more weight that is applied, the harder the Timbren springs push back to reduce or eliminate the rear suspension sag. If you're pulling a heavy trailer or loading up your bed, the Timbren springs will help auto level your truck.
The Timbren springs replace the OEM jounce stops located on the Raptor's frame. The unique design and progressive qualities ensure a great ride and a level truck when under load. An approximate 1" to 2" gap should be between the Timbren springs and the frame to guarantee unloaded ride quality.
